I’ve spent a lot of time on promotion lately. It is part of the writing job. I’ve promoted The Pledge, being released at www.enspirenpress.com for about eight months now, but it is time to kick it into high gear.

With the book release less than 2 months away, I need to make sure people ‘recognize’ my name. This is not a problem in the non-fiction world, but it is proving to be a major problem in the fiction world.

I blog, and I participate in forums, but I always feel like there is never enough time or enough tools to make myself ‘get noticed.’ So, I’ve started to focus on some tools to help authors create a buzz for their books. One of them is available at myspace. The slide show feature is easy to use.

I found a bit of problem uploading the pictures. The wizard kept giving me a ‘unknown error’ message. I took my photos and put them in Microsoft XP paint (found in accessories) This simplest of photo editors saved the file perfectly.
