What can set a work at home professional apart from the pack – a book. Of all the marketing information, all the link generating, and all the hype about work at home opportunities, nothing gains a writer prestige or paid assignments like a book.
Anyone competent writer can write a book. Writing one that is sellable and will promote the author is not so easy to write. Not even the largest publishers can guarantee the success of a book. Trends, target audiences, marketing, promotion, and even world events can affect the sale’s and impact of a book.
I just finished writing a series of articles on the common mistakes made by freelance writers that can cost them money. Now I am going to write a series that will help writers make money.
It is not important whether the book sells 100 or 1000 or 1 000 000 copies. It does not matter whether the book is 75, 100, or 300 words. It doesn’t matter whether the book is released through a free service like lulu.com . The book’s purpose is to trumpet your niche to the entire world, and act as a brochure, telling others that you are more than qualified to write articles on a particular topic.
