Add a New Topic in a Forum

Click on the “forum” link on the left side or at the top of the page on any page on the website. This takes you to http://inspiredauthor.com/promotion/forum. Pick a forum topic and click on that name. One of the topics is: Welcome to the Forum – Introductions and Questions About the Forum. The other topic is Share Your Favorite Promotional Tips - Book Stores, Gift Shops and More, Free and Low Cost Promotional Ideas and Online Promotional Ideas.

Near the top of the page – you will see Post new forum topic. Click on this link to enter a new topic or post. The page opens and you need to enter a logical heading in the Subject block. The next block is labeled “Categories” and that will automatically show the right heading for your post. In the “Body” block, enter your message and be sure to enter your name and website address at the bottom of the “body” block. You don’t need to enter any additional information. Click “submit” and the message will post.

If you need to change your message, click on the message subject and “edit” which is above the post. Make any needed changes and click “submit” when you’re finished. This will repost your message.

Post a Reply in a Forum

Click on the subject line that interests you and read the post. If you want to add a reply, click “Add a New Comment” at the bottom of the post. Simply enter a subject line and enter your message in the “body” block. When you’re happy with the message, click “Submit” and you are finished. If you need to edit your comment, click on “edit” near the top of the page and make any needed changes. When the changes are finished, click “submit” and it will post.
