I know exactly how you feel when it comes to using rain as an excuse to stay inside and write. When those first warm rays of spring come (I'm in Maine, so it takes awhile) the urge to go out and plant and work in the yard is so strong. I have to keep reminding myself to write and feel torn when I don't do as much as I should. Good luck with the projects. They sound interesting.
