Currently I'm writing an "Americana", a historical romance set in the 1800s in Colorado. My characters have become a part of me and live in my head even when I'm not writing!  It certainly has been an interesting journey.  As one of the moderators of this chat forum, I look forward to talking with you about the writing process.

At my "day job" I'm an administrative assistant for an international nonprofit organization that does humanitarian outreaches.   Nights and weekends I proofread manuscripts, continue on my work in progress. attend writer workshop chats here at IA and maintain my blogs. 

If you had told me a year ago I'd be doing all of this, I'd have laughed you off.  But this past year has been so amazing.  I'm living proof that no dream is unreachable.  With effort, creative ideas, a good mentor and lots of prayer, I am achieving my writing dreams.
