Novel Elements

There are several elements that are used as building blocks to create a 'marketable novel.' Another term for a marketable novel is the page turner, or the break out novel. These only refer to terms that define a very good novel.

A novel element is something shared by most break out novels. There is something about these elements that increase the pleasure readers derive from the story. And - after all - the secret of success is to give the reader what they want, when they want, how they want it - but wrap the elements in an unusual, intriguing story.
